    Common Was Here in Spirit , DUBLIN in ireland last nite and he done a few of his classics from like water..ress..etc.. but he killed it when he done BE , its such a classic!!!! he done a 10 min freestyle shouting random things goin on in the crowd and in dublin and he rapped over Jay Z 's takeover.. He Was UNREAL... and Be Is amazin live .. Best Hip Hop Gig Iv Ever Been to.Period.

    If by classic you mean better then every other major label/mainstream album out these days then yes I guess you could dub it a classic. However by my standards its a 3.5/4.0 album. I liken it to the last two roots albums that came out. Good but not better then their old material. Dope album though, no complaints.

    Its really nice but only time can identify a classic. I love the production on this CD Kanye did his thing and Common was on point throughout. Its loveley to just kick back and smoke a joint to.

    Be is fantastic. Have played it regularly since it came out and I'm not going tired of it, which is a trademark of classic albums. Though I don't want to make that decision yet...

    I liked the album with gladiator on it better than this, no hate but I like battle rap rashid, over appeal to the masses become I'm around new beats common

    It's great for the same reason the Score by the Fugees is great. It's so easy to listen too. Production is clean as shit. Every track has a memorable hook. It lacks something though... rawness. Like Water for Chocolate will always be my favorite album by Common because the minute that album starts until it ends is an experience. BE feels like a collection of hits.
