been listening to this alot today, and i like it even more than i did at first. it's ageless, coulda been done during the CYH days, or coulda been done tomorrow.

come on ben, regressing? why does no lyrics signal a regress. no other hip hop artists other than the roots, that i know of, can play their own shit.

Surley a dissapointment because i like hearing them rap, but to me their instrumental stuff is just as good in a different way. And its not like a new thing, theyve had instrumental songs on albums going back to 93.
I havent heard this for sure, but i think a small part of it might be to get an album out, albiet something they wanted to do, but something to help fullfill one of their mandatory contractual albums.
