You are right that I seldomly enforce that rule more than other mods I disabled all images in my userCP. Therefore right now I don't see any sigs or avatars. All posted images appear as links.

Coming from a senior mod that sounds very unproffesional. How can you mod the forum when you cant see all the pictures that are being posted? Other mods hardly follow that rule you posted. It seems that the rule is posted only when it comes to defending a mods actions rather then when it comes time to enforce. How is it we are allowed to post pics of sick shit and cocks and assholes and all of that all the time? Then every once in a while you and your team decide to enfore that rule. Seems a bit lopsided.

It depends what degree of profession you are talking about. Consider that I am also a regular poster here and I also have personal preferences on how I choose to view the board. If one of the admins comes and say "you must see all images and police them" then things would be different.

There is a lot more to moderating a forum than images. Of course I see some images and images get reported, etc. If all the mods decided they don't want to view any images then of course there would be a problem. If other mods hardly followed that rule there would be more threads here and posts reported of the actual images than those here complaining their post got deleted and threads locked.

There is no fine line between whats ok and whats not when dealing with those pictures of graphic nature but rather a very large grey area. When things are in the grey area then thats when harder decisions are made.
