Default Building A Studio - Advice

What up. It's Me Snitches! Been a while .... back to business...

I'm looking to convert an outbuilding into a small recording studio, has anybody done anything similar who could give me some advice?

Basically, I need info on affordable methods of soundproofing/noise reduction, and electrical connections.

If anybody can give me some insight, it would be much appreciated.

    Scream at me.

1st rule after completion of building a studio:

hire an engineer that knows what he/she is doing, and let the artists, a&r's, managers, producers, etc, etc. stick to they job!!!
