the "big fake announcement" and the tavis smiley interview were able to be put on the front page without a webmaster being here. i can understand all the other stuff like polls and interface updating but we should be able to get news on the front page without a webmaster. why isnt this happening?

yeah without a webmaster the site cant be updated. cilvaringz did that BET thing but he's not a regular here thats why he's looking for a webmaster now.
