10/10 - One of the best damn albums I've heard, a personal classic. Anyone else listened to this album?

its wicked, but over rated. as a whole album i thought it was real good, no real standout track particularly.

    8.5/10 or 9/10.

you guys saying "overrated" type remarks are fucked! Youre sounding reeeal ignorant right now.

You completelyforgetting that this was recorded in 1995! Automator was 10 years ahead of the game with his production, Keith has never spit it better, no one has got as creative with their rhymes as keith did on this. again i repeat this was recorded 1995, imagine hearing this shit when it came out then, revolutionary rap. I'm not saying its an all-all-all time classic, but its never been over-rated, its under-rated in what it did for the game.

Man but serious, this type of shit would never get released now, its as much of a one off as Illmatic.

At one point I tried to convince myself that this album was better than it is, but in the end I just really don't much care for Kool Keith. 'Blue Flowers' is awesome, 'Halfsharkalligatorhalfman' is really good, and there are a few other pretty good songs, but as a whole I just don't think this album is all that great. It's creative. I appreciate its originality and relevance in hip hop, but I just don't really think it's all that good. There's a lot of really shitty hooks on it too. I think the most I could give it would be about 7/10.

keith's definitely in my top 20 mcs, maybe even top 10, but i absolutely understand why a lot of people can't get into him. he's like the ornette coleman of hiphop. that being said, i dare you to front on ultramagnetic mc's critical beatdown lp. in ego trip's book of rap lists they rate keith higher than 2pac.
