f4 rise of the silver surfer.... review
this film dont even deserve a review it is utter shit....very short film...dr doom and the surfer have little screentime (although surfer is sick in this film) and galactus is a big consuming space cloud!, the storyline is sketchy and crap...the characters suck nuts...........VERY DISAPOINTING

Im gonna be seeing this on wednesday, im looking forward to it but im not expecting it to be mindblowing, saying that though I enjoyed the first movie and while I do think certain actors were miscast in their roles and it wasn't epic in anyway, I still thought they did a good job as a whole. From what I hear this one is better than the first so for me im unlikley to be dissapointed.

Just saw this one. It was better than the first (action wise) but it wasnt as good as expected. Silver Surfer didnt seem authentic from the comic standpoint, plus the whole movie was like a comedy and didnt really excite me. The acting overall was pretty poor, Alba is damn fine though lol
I would give this a 6/10

I didn't think it was bad...but I have to say it was too slow sometimes...I like dialogue in an action flick but this was just too much.And yeah too little screentime for The Surfer.It's like going to a Fantastic Four movie without The Fantastic Four in it.A title character should have more screentime.Doom didn't dissapoint tho' IMO.

I don't really see that as a negative...you got these longass movies that get boring after a while...when I first saw that it was an hour and a half I said ok, maybe they can get the essentials down, but they just slowed it down so that the pace of the movie doesn't fit the length of it.

The movie was weak.
It just doesn't bring the comic to life.
^^But the trailers look hot, though. I want to see the movie but I don't want to be really disapointed. $8.50 is not worth it.

The trailer is practically the whole movie.
I enjoyed this film, I actually thought it was better than spiderman 3, while that film was bogged down with too many stupid subplots with no characterisation and was far too long considering they couldn't really flesh out all the characters (Venom/eddie brock, Sandman & Gwen). FF2 gave a straight forward story with decent action with a good pace, everyone got their moment and then it finished, great in my book.
