Classic. I got the reissued version of this album and there's a videos dvd that comes with it that has the videos that were from this album. Nothing But A G Thing video is a classic. It's a shame that Dr Dre hasn't released more solo albums. It's also a shame how Death Row records fell off because the record label was very successful in the early 90's. If Suge Knight hadn't been ignorant, i believe Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Daz and Kurupt, Rage, Nate Dogg would've stayed. Suge should've released Dr Dre and Ice Cube's Helter Skelter album.

easily one of the greatest records of all time, not just one of the greatest hip hop records but one of the truly incredible albums in music in general. look at the source's definition of 5 mics and you'll find a picture of the album cover

of course it's a fucking classic 5/5... in my opinion "2001" was even better though.

arguably, the greatest produced album of all time

    5 mics off production alone

am i the only one feeling that "2001" was even better produced.. as far as lyrics "the chronic" was the better album though. both are easily 5 mics..
