I have a problem 4 a week now...

I expirienced a problem. you know when u enter a folder and above the folders u usually c buttons file, edit, view, favorites, tools and help. well guess what, i dont have them anymore and i dont know how so?... i dont have any buttons in any window... so that shit bugs me pretty much... i mean i cant change anything like pics from details to lists etc... some ppl i told they thought i just turned off that back ffrw search bar, but i cant get that back unless i have that other buttons i named before in this post...
anyway, I need help and i would really appreciate it...

first of all save all your files, second show me a screenshot of your problem, the worst think that can happen is that you have to re-install windows...

can i re-install it without loosing any files, and do i have to have original windows cd?

do following: go to system control --> design --> folder options.

make sure everything looks like here (sorry that it's german):

go to My Computer --> on the right side you got "other places", there you gotta find it...

Make sure to lock your toolbars in future, too. Its in the View>Toolbars menu.
