What is the New Age Movement?
no: I think it shows desperation.
Firstly, I hate walking into a book shop and seeing a new age section full of Buddhism, Tarot cards, the Tao Teh Ching etc....NEW? :\
Also, I agree it waters alot of things down...but so does religion in general...distorts teachings...
It gives people access to a wider range of ideas etc. And like I said even religion is distorted...so I guess it is good. Coz the result is just more information....but in both cases people still have to use their own minds to sort it out.
I mean if you wanna spend hours trying to find you guardian angel with destiny cards, can you blame the people selling these products? Or your own laziness and stupidity?

It is a a pretty loose concept. It includes anything not old school/orthodox and western I guess..
It can include Taoism, Buddhism, Paul Coelho, Tarot cards....it's kinda hippyish....

New Age is too broad of a term
