Default God couldn't fight iron chariots?

Somebody showed me this today. This is really bizarre. How could God not be able to fight iron chariots?

    (Judges 1:19)
And the LORD was with Judah; and he drove out the inhabitants of the hill-country; for he could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.

probably because its fake and was written by man. but just a suggestion...
The earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and in triumph they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot.

People are too stupid to effectively conspire to do anything, but not too stupid to come up with conspiracy theories.

But why would they admit that their God couldn't beat iron chariots? That seems kind of stupid.

why did they say jesus could turn water into wine, moses parted the red sea, noah built and arc and put 2 of every animal on it?

who knows. they all seem equally rediculous to me.

Looks to me like the verse is saying Judah couldn't drive out the inhabitants, not God.

How many times does it need to be explained that these "gods" were all anunnaki that made themselves gods and used mankind to fight their wars amongst each other. We were created in their image- thus we fight amongst ourselves as well.

We all have different races because so did they- have different races. We showed up on different spots on the Earth all at the same time - with different races because they had ships to carry us to different locations.

Iron Chariot/Fiery Chariot = armored carrier or ship back then.

    Here we go again.

The Almighty Urban Journalz. He just has to know everything doesn't he. His interpretation is golden.

Looking at it again, you're right BUT why wouldn't they be able to do it if God was there with them? Usually in the Bible you win when God is with you and lose if you angered Him.

Maybe in this verse God wasn't taking sides.

well it's at least talking about "driving out" and not "destroying".

i guess he was just trying to make them flee, but it's apparently harder to make them flee when they've got heavy ass iron chariots. and it isn't God himself who steps down and shows himself to the world and says "do this" and it is done, but rather he works through his people (God has his kingdom, earth is for man).

so he had a bunch of Israelites to work with and couldn't get them to make these people with iron chariots run away.

earlier in this chapter (Judges 1) it mentions nothing but victory over enemies for Israel.
