    It's a fucking kid's book. It gets the children reading, and honestly it's refreshing to see that kids are, for once, excited about reading. Fuck that shit, just don't read it if you don't like it.

    I read Potter books.I think they're good and yeah, it's good to see the kids reading them.

    true, i have only read the first one and that was years ago but i cant hate on them, except when its someone my age excited about the only book theyve read in their life.

    the books get better....the first two were dreadful...but then it gets better...

    but for me, this serie is superior - from Phillip Pullman

    Part Two, The Subtle Knife
    (Scholastic, 1997; USA, Knopf, 1997)

    Part Three, The Amber Spyglass

    My son read the last Harry Potter book in 2 days he loves to read...

    He's 11 gonna be 12 in september...

    Would you suggest I buy these for him?
