Default what is your favorite REGGAE album/collection?

my favorite has to be the 'songs of freedom' anthology of bob marley or the trojan 'ganga collection' featuring mad artists all praising the collie. i love reggae and want to hear of others favorites, etc.
    peace,

burning spear got some dope stuff, lee perry, tosh, steel pulse, and obvi bob.

    check em out.
The earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and in triumph they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot.

People are too stupid to effectively conspire to do anything, but not too stupid to come up with conspiracy theories.

I don`t listen to much reggae, but theres this dub band I really like called Fat Freddy`s Drop and they got some pretty good reggae sounding tunes. All three of their albums are sweet, here are some gems:

Not all their shit is reggae, they play jazz, soul, etc.

This is your homework. I will cut it to 10 albums so I will exclude the Bob Marley albums and keep it one album per artist.

    Black Uhuru - Red
    Gregory Isaacs - Night Nurse
John Holt - Police in Helicopter
Max Romeo - War ina Babylon
    Burning Spear - Marcus Garvey
    Peter Tosh - Legalize It
    Lee Perry - Super Ape
Sizzla - Black Woman & Child
    Bunny Wailer - Blackheart Man
    Wailing Souls - Firehouse Rock

Those 4 are good. If you want more Marley look for Rasta Revolution and Soul Rebels, perhaps.

Also if you like Reggae singers, Beres Hammond is a good option. Its hard to point to one album by him, either his self titled album or Love Has No Boundaries.
