I got this now, its a good album. Its better than their last 3 official releases, the first disc is absolute fire, stuff that was made in the mid 90s era, although the track with Snoop Dogg sucks. The first disc got all that dope relentless flow to the tracks with real knocking beats and Prodigy at his best. The second disc is more of a mixed bag, and it gets a bit repetitive but its got its highlights.
Its not classic but basically if you liked their first 4 albums this is a very low risk purchase, and better than most shit they done in the last 7 years.

essential for Mobb fans, or even anyone who wrote 'em off after "Murda Muzik" (the cd; the movie is quite good, can't understand the hate for it at all). i bought this, Hell Razah and Wisemen all in the same week this past spring, each are still excellent in their ways.

I never thought Mobb Deep would do a song with Snoop Dogg what with those diss tracks New York New York and LA LA against each over

It's not a best of, it's a compilation of rarities.

And the whole NY, NY vs. LA, LA thing was pretty much said to be nothing. All of them cats (Snoop, the Pound, CNN, Mobb Deep) said they met frequently after both songs and it was pretty much all "what's up" and shit.
