Have spent the day listening to this. It's fuckin amazing. For me it's easily album of the year. A lean 10 tracks (+ intro, outro and a remix) with one guest verse, in the best tradition of the old days of getting straight to the point and not filling albums with extra sub par tracks, loads of cameos and hundreds of skits.

The entire albums one big metaphoar of Candyland as real life, and this concept succeeds through some genius lyrics. The beats (all handled by Australian producers) are also top notch in that simple dusty loop, fat soul drums and a tocuh of vinyl crackle old school kind of way. Simply superb. I recommend everyone goes and buys it.

J Dilla, MF Grimm, Mr. Lif, Poetic aka Grym Reaper, Kool G Rap, RA the Rugged Man, Shabazz, Hell Razah, Timbo King, Jus Allah, Warcloud, Breeze Brewin, Kid Capri, Count Bass D, Insight and more...

Cool. I really hope you like it though! Having said that, I can't see how anyone who likes Grimm wouldn't think it was excellent.

The fact that it's in the HIP HOP section would mean that it's for hip hop albums........but im not bothered either way, post what you want.

How's the Percee P album? I'm gonna pick it up when I get paid. I love Dilla, but didn't really get that album as it's just the tracks he did with Pharcyde and stuff, nothing new.
