Tattoos were cool when they were rare. A sign of rebellion.
Now too many peeps are covered with them.
It's far more counter-culture now to NOT have a tattoo.
Right now, a tattoo is the sign of a conformist.

If you REALLY want one but can't come up with something a cross is always safe and works almost anywhere. Possibilities are basically endless if you go the cross route. Another good one if you're completely blanked is skulls. Skulls pretty much says "how can I look tough even though i'm scared shitless" Throw a couple skulls somewhere. Its pretty much the equivalent to when someone who has zero social skills is about to have a panic attack because they just got caught in a picture...."FUCK what do i do, what do i do, what do i do?! MIDDLE FINGER whoa that was close" But it works! If you want to put a little thought into it, I suggest getting your last name in 'old english' down your forearm. If you're going for subtle, wrap the bicep. tribal or barbwire < which by now probably just went from being the most unoriginal idea to retro. The most powerful tat right now is a saying. Get one before all the people who put no effort into their life take advantage. Hope this helps.
I cant front, I have tats. My dream tat would be Sarah Connor getting DP'd by Kyle Reese and The Terminator. I don't know if I can pull the trigger though.
Theres a problem with your logic here.
Tattoos used to be about rebellion more than self expression but now they are more accepted in society. It doesn't make you a conformist anymore than anything else you might do, listening to the same music as other people, liking the same movies or clothes etc.
Its about self expression, maybe if you got the same tattoo as your friends or something that would be conforming.
Getting tons of tattoos being commonplace is more of a fad and it looks funny looking. Girls usually look better without them all over the place.
Tru. And those females with the lower back tats look so dated. Now I'm seeing females with sleeves and tats on the top of their feet. Smh. Also the ankle.
At work, there is this female with tats on the innerside of her upper arms (wtf)? It looks like she has some bumps/scars on the same spot and used the tats to cover it up. It looks stupid and raises big question marks.
This was originally just the rosary. I got it when I was 17. Since then fucking everybody started to do the rosary thing. Maybe two years ago I added the angel mourning over the pedestal. Same artist, with an old school style. Probably my only tattoo like that. Compared to whats being done today, Its not the prettiest tat but you wont see anything else like it.
Btw tattooing right where your arm bends hurts like hell

Haha. The most ridiculous tat I've seen "thus far". Last night, seen some guy with asian writing on his cheek. I wonder if he knows what it means? He also had arm and hand tats.
I would love to see what some of these people would look like when they get old.
