Why is the Wu releasing unmastered singles at all? I understand it's to create buzz for the album, but by releasing tracks that are going to be sounding better on the album what kind of buzz do you really hope to generate?
It's obvious from reading the comments that most fans have a problem with Watch your Mouth and some do with Gently Weeps as well...

Couldn't they get one track fully mastered and then release it?

If the point is to get people amped up for the album, wouldn't you want to give them the best version possible?

as far as the track goes is a disappointment from the point of view of those that heard "my guitar" before but that does not mean the track is bad

i feel RZA should sample this in a whole new different way cuz in reality i don't think the track will change that much for the album,i hope im wrong bout this

but the metaphor for the song is incredible the guitar strings represent the addict vanes that have been damage so the addict weeps because drug use the dope dealer weeps cuz hes killing everybody and the people weeps cuz they are witness of the self destruction of this addicts the track should be call "My People Gently weeps" like early tracklist shown
with a metaphor like that i feel much less disappointed for the beat i think this is the best single for them to make a video people that are not fans or were fans and stop listening to them will love this and it will certainly attract more fans (cuz they don't know about "My Guitar"

PLUS! the first singles of the last 2 albums were not the best song on each of the albums "Protect Ya Neck" & "UZI" so Wacth Your Mouth & My Heart Gently Weeps will be no were near as dope as the other songs on 8 diagram

i don't think he's talking outta his ass. he said he had dhani come into the studio and play the acoustic guitar, but the version we heard doesn't have any acoustic guitar parts on it...

so i'm assuming we just haven't heard the final version yet

If Ghosts verse is as good as "impossible", then this is not the final version because the one out now is nowhere close to his verse on impossible. I hope there is a better version because Rae sounds boring as hell, I know he can bring something better on such an important track.

on 36 and Forever the singles were Protect Ya Neck & Triumph they can be put as the best tracks on each album on the other hand the las 2 album The W and Iron Flag the singles were Protect Ya Neck (Jump Off) & Uzi they are good tracks but def not the best on each albums i think the same will happen this time a good single but not the best track of the album
