I Gave You Power was dope, but not revolutionary.. When Organized Konfusion did it, it was revolutionary.

It was definitely a solid album coming out after the success of Illmatic. I'd rate it 8, 8.5/10. Only 1 or 2 tracks weren't to my taste, but this album gets slept on way too often.
Eh? How does 3 x 5/5 + 4 x 3/5 + 7 x 4/5 add up to a near classic 9/10???
Done by averages your ratings would lead to 3.667/5 or 7.333/10. Dunno how you rate so many tracks so low if you rate the album so high.

I rate each track indivisual but all together when all the tracks are combined I rate the album 9/10
huh, lol
bring back begongo!!
Shit's a personal classic...it's a wintertime joint. You gotta walk around your neighborhood with this bumpin' in ya walkman/mp3 player when there's ice on the ground and snow covering the grass. It's not a summer, spring, or fall album.

This isn't my favorite album by Nas because of all the mafioso stuff, but i thought none the less it was well executed. The productions no way near "illmatic"!
I mean come on he had premeir, large pro, l.e.s., and pete rock!
I'd give it maybe 6/8 because of the mafioso b.s.
