America will accept anything, no matter how controversial, as long as that thing fits its ideals and beliefs. Thus, the only reason why there is ANY widespread controversey about this album title is because Nas is an intelligent man who is using the title as something to say. Anytime an intelligent Black man has something to say, it causes controversey. Look at Kanye with his comments on the NBC fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina, look at Ice-T's "Cop Killer," look at Paris's "Bush Killa." They all faced media scrutiny, and Paris and Ice-T got DROPPED from their deals! Even Jadakiss's "Why" got censored on the radio because of his comments about Bush and 9/11. On the flipside, nobody complained HALF as much as this when this cat John Gibson said racist shit about Black men and violence (http://allhiphop.com/blogs/news/arch.../18730766.aspx). Shit...Fox News and America are scared of Nas, point blank, period. And if you are too, then don't buy the album. But I know where I'm gonna be spending my money on December 11th.

Hip Hop is Dead was dope, not commercial dope, Hip Hop dope and Nas is going to bang out another well-made album. He's on roll fuck the hating. Streets Disciple, Hip Hop is Dead and Now this. Props for the poor man's promotion. He stated he has no promotion budget for this album so good job and stirring up the masses.
