ok maybe "awful" is a bit much, but i always hated that shit, i never listen to it. a terrible comeback album to me, although it has some bangers...Iron Flag was okay though, but this shit is MUCH better.

    1. Campfire
Dope, dark beat with MEF absolutely killing it, despite some of the weaker namedropping. Definitely the good old 36 Chambers sound!

    2. Take It Back
The beat could've been better. Rae sets it off, INS kills it, and after Ghost U-God kills it again, "I'm still Asiatic when I spill the hypeness"
    8.5/10

    3. Get Them Out Ya Way Pa
Oooohhhh.. THIS BASS IS NASTY, and I mean that in a good way. A slow, dark track.
    9/10

    4. Rushing Elephants
Rae & GZA both comes real dope. Beat is tight, overall a great track.
    9/10

    5. Unpredictable
Deck kicks this off excellent, and the beat and the guitar sounds chaotic, but dope as fuck. Kind of similar to the more chaotic tracks on Unkle's classic album "Psyence Fiction". Sadly Dexter Wiggles sounds horrible on the chorus, luckily the beat makes him a shadow so he's not ruining the song.
    9/10

    6. The Heart Gently Weeps
Real good production. Ghost comes in on the second verse with a great verse, even though some will complain about a couple of lines he sings. The beat change when MEF comes in is classic, he should've had a couple of more lines though!
    9.5/10

    7. Wolves
Uey sets this off real good, MEF comes in second showing he still shines. Good beat.
    8.5/10

    8. Gun Will Go
Now this is some real dark gritty dope shit. Classic beat, Rae and MEF shows how you supposed to flow slow, both killing it. CLASSIC!
    10/10

    9. Sunlight
RZA's solo track. Classic beat and RZA kills it, what more can you ask for?
    10/10

    10. Stick Me For My Riches
First verse is purely singing by Gerald Alston, bound to get hated on, but imo, it's dope and fitting. Great chorus, INS & GZA kills it. Sadly, the beat could've been soooooo much better.
    8/10

    11. Starter
Weakest track on the album. The chorus is horrible. Even though the production ain't weak, overall it just sounds like some BEP shit with Generals + Street Life on it.
    6/10

    12. Windmill
Dope beat, the guitar sounds sick. Rae the new track-starter comes in first with a dope verse. GZA, Masta Killa, INS, MEF & CappaDonna all comes in with dope verses making it a memorable track.
    9.5/10

    13. Weak Spot
A real good dark beat. Rae, RZA & GZA all kills it. Old school kung-fu samples in classic Wu-Style
    10/10

    14. Life Changes
The well known ODB tribute. Nice beat, with some good verses. Sadly there's no Ghost to be seen, and RZA has said he was disappointed. Some of the verses should've been longer, and it would've been better if they didn't make the chorus come in after EVERY little verse. The beat quality drops as RZA comes in, and everything about his verse sounds weird.
    8/10

    15. Tar Pit
Good, but a little boring production. All verses are good. A little to long outro with some screaming guy.
    8/10

    16. 16th Chamber
Dope track, but the quality is off. Nice to hear ODB again.
    8/10

    Overall - Wu's best album since Wu-Tang Forever. 9/10

    Initial Reaction

    Campfire - dope intro
Take It Back - Pretty cool
Get Em Out The Way Pah - Dont like the chorus amd its too long.
    Rushing Elephants - Its OK
Unpredictable - This is pretty good except for dexter wiggles
Gently Weeps - Boring, Erykah sounds awful
Wolves - Would be dope without George Clinton's part. Still pretty good
Gun Will Go - Its alright
    Sunlight - Pretty cool
Stick Me - It would be dope if it wasnt so long
Starter - This is alright. Afro Samurai beat recycled. Not feeling the singing.
.Windmill - DOPE, best song on the album.
.Weakspot - Another really dope song
Life Changes - Love this one too.
    Tar pit
16th Chamber ... weve heard ODB spit that verse a few times before.

.... may be the worst wu album. It definitely isnt better than The W.

Listening to it was kind of draining at some parts. I honestly wanted to stop at points but wanted to wait until i heard it all before i just wrote it off. I dunno... ill give it a few more chances but as of now im not really liking it. It sounds a bit sloppy and unfocused but hey thats what you get when not everyone is on the same page anymore and especially when one of those people is The RZA.

weve heard ODB spit that verse a few times before.

Dude...this was recorded in 1992....almost every Wu member has lyrics they have used in freestyles/other songs that they use in thier solos.

Meth's verse is from Release Yo Delf...released in 94
ODB verses are from Snakes/Protect Ya Neck Part II...released in 95

Lol technically RZA's right.....it was unused back in 1992 AND its a combination of 2 verses making a semi-new one. He said he wanted the track to personify Dirty's rawness

okay after more listens, i've come to the conclusion that sunlight is totally out of place here. yes, the rza beat is phenomenal, but his delivery and subject matter belongs on one of his own solos. he should have been brief and let some others kill that beat. he dragged on and on, and it was about allah (*yawn).
