The Gray Man (Netflix). As far as action movies go I thought this was very good, especially from the middle of the movie onwards in terms of large set piece action scenes.

ItÂ’s almost impossible for me to get into a new show anymore, all I watch is podcasts these days. HavenÂ’t started a new show in probably three years 🤷🏼*♂️

99 Woodstock doc on Netflix. I don't remember it being as a big deal as they were trying to make it seem.

'Terminal' (2018) starring Margot Robbie. I always enjoy MR, good actress and easy on the eyes, but this movie makes a straightforward plot 'more interesting' by using the old quick cut between present and past trick continuously. frankly it felt cheap. the only good scenes are the conversations between Simon Pegg & Margot Robbie. They get to work their comefic skills and they are a good pairing. the rest of the movie is bland as fuck and you get the feeling the Pegg subplot is only very loosely connected to the main plot. the final 'reveal' was laughable

also it's a movie with no outdoors scenes whatsoever

I saw fight club Corny as fuck. The acting was good but the story is cringe, how are white people so pathetic?

The Sandman. I'm not big on voiceover so we'll see how it goes. I love me some Neil Gaiman (novels) but I'm not familiar with this comic.

was debating on starting Sandman. really enjoyed reading some of Gaiman, never read Sandman, personally i thought some of the adaptions didnt live up to the source material. maybe its best i do this one without reading first.

still really need to watch, American Gods.

lmao, yeah i kind of have to agree with this. i read this book when i was 13 or so and thought it was like the most radical bad ass thing ever. it was pretty big within a certain sub group of dudes at school. flash forward a few years later and the author came out as queer, which even as a young reader the more i read of his, the more i started to feel that this guy is gay. smh. i think his work started to fall after the coming out imo. havent checked him since mid high school i would say.

Brett Easton Ellis is queer but i feel like most of his work stayed pretty good throughout his career, he even wrote some good screenplays. The Canyons in particular i thoroughly enjoyed with Lindsay Lohan and James Deen.

but back to the movie Fight Club. man what a GREAT CAST and what a great director. literally everything was great. and when watching this as a younger kid we all thought this was ANARCHY. super bad ass. a couple years ago, i found it in a clearance bin at Barnes and Nobles and i said fuck it, this would be nice to have in the collection since i (thought) i loved it so much as a kid.

man i re watched this at like 26/27 years old and i had the same reaction you did. like this is some of the cringest shit ive ever watched. almost disgusted with myself for having enjoyed it so much lolz.

although the line about never eating the clam chowder i still find hilarious for some reason.
