purely on the visuals its great, but thats the one redeeming feature that makes it 'not bad'.

Jerry seinfeld himself isnt that funny to me but George and Kramer are fucking dope even Elaine.

But my favourite show is trailer park boys, i was mortified when it ended. bammmmm

jerry wrote the show, without him and larry you got nothing. jerry usually had the best lines imo, he was the cool one.

I know he and Larry David wrote it but I mean purely as a comedy actor hes outshined by the other characters but you could say thats how its supposed to be.

I had this discussion with some friends years ago and we all agreed - Jerry was the least funny person on the whole show

still never saw an episode, I think it's on netflix now tho ill have to check it

another character I like from Seinfled is Georges dad ,played by ben stillers dad.

Regarding trailer park boys the 1st season is hard to get through but after that you will probably get hooked, i can honestly say every character is excellent and worthy of being in it

That's probably why the fictionalized version of Jerry is the dullest character. What makes sitcoms great is that the characters are complete idiots, that's where all their best moments come from anyway. Having Jerry write the fictionalized version of himself seemed to result in writing him too good of a person, too normal, which goes against the entire idea of a sitcom.

jerry in the show is not really a good person. he does have the straight role in the show, that just means he gets to make jokes about all the crazy people in the show. all the best lines. watched this earlier.

dude is hilarious to me, plus he influenced a whole generation of comics with his stand up. obviously the work of art in a tv character on seinfeld is george costanza, but jerry is the nucleus.
