about steadman...i watched this hunter s thompson documentary where among other things (like him chewing out alex cox and this female screenwriter who were originally set to adapt fear and loathing and wanted to do the desert bits as animation with sent him into a rage lol) steadman's supposed to be sketching some shit for him and hunter's just berating him the whole time lol
steadman came across as that archetype of the constantly put upon older british dude who just takes it all in stride lol

ha, yeah, is that the documentary which came out this year?

If so, i've seen it. Can't exactly remember that scene though.

It's a good doco all round.

HMC is one of my fav movies ever made in life including movies i havent seen.

wackness was kinda weird... my cuzzo used to watch thats nick show he was on and this was like when that blondie went from saved by the bell to porn(esque)... i just hate when cats try WAAAY too hard to break an image.
    Method Man wasn't believable.

Sword of the Stranger... fuckin bonkers; i can't find an english dub but there's a line in there dude says that made the whole movie for me. i'd sample it.

saw funny people... lol it just kept going... i thought it was over like 3 times.
    not real funny tho.

saw the new bring it on flick just for the christina milian aspect.
    i was offended.

saw ghosts of girlfriends past for the christina milian aspect...
decent movie. i wish mcconoughey didn't do chick flicks but entertaining enough if you with a broad.

saw blood the last vampire.... i don't know how to feel about the movie. it wasn't what i expected. it has it's moments but i took nothing away from it.

    Soloist was dull imo
State of play was hard to get into but was pretty good overall
Hangover was funny. not lol funny but funny.
    Terminator was fuckin awesome!!
i love you man was decent. sorta funny. Paul rudd is a new fav actor of mine i suppose. not for this flick tho.
dance flick >>>>> fighting & wolverine
race to witch mountain was good imo. sad to see the fall of the rock tho... i thought he was going somewhere.

been watching Real Genius & akira alot lately for some reason.

oh and the trailer for the odb flick... pretty good imo

I too watched sword of the stranger recently. That movie is straight bonkers, soo good.

funny people: The first half was hilarious but then it kinda fell into a "click" sortof thing where it turned into this pussy drama that just kept dragging on.

district 9: sick ass sci fi movie, really loved it

Inglourious Basterds: A return to form for Tarantino. Best performance goes to Christopher Walz

King Boxed: On some ol shaw brothers shit. Classic stuff really good action.
lots of good shit soming out soon to look out for too

no it came out before he died...it has some choice bits where johnny depp accompanies him to a reading of fear and loathing and depp reads from the book, him raising hell at the rolling stone offices...one of my friends owns it, i'll ask him next time i talk to him what the name was.

what's the name of the one you're talking about?

ehhh...Its what you make of it. I assume your talking of the Nick Cage version

It obviously cant touch the original, but its good for what its worth, i thought.

Def feels like one of those movies that potentially could have been better and had all the tools needed, but just didnt happen
