I thought it was a very slight step below Food & Liquor, but still a great album... a lot of heat on here

his experimentations with his flow worked out well

The production was solid throughout for the most part, the only weak spots being Hi-Definition and Gold Watch

But really the only real problems I have with this album were that the guest rappers outside of Gemini/Gemstones sucked and the hooks that Lupe performed himself also sucked

I'll post an expanded review later, but for now -

    1) Baba Says Cool for Thought - *
    2) Free Chilly - *
    3) Go Go Gadget Flow - 8/10
    4) The Coolest - 8.5/10
    5) Superstar - 10/10
    6) Paris, Tokyo - 10/10
    7) Hi-Definition - 4/10
    8) Gold Watch - 6/10
    9) Hip Hop Saved My Life - 8.5/10
    10) Intruder Alert - 10/10
    11) Streets on Fire - 10/10
    12) Little Weapon - 7/10
    13) Gotta Eat - 8/10
    14) Dumb It Down - 8/10
    15) Hello/Goodbye (Uncool) - 7.5/10
    16) The Die - 9.5/10
    17) Put You On Game - 10/10
    18) Fighters - 9/10
    19) Go Baby - 8.5/10

BEST TRACKS: The Die; Put You On Game; Superstar; Paris, Tokyo
    SKIP: Gold Watch; Hi-Definition

Yeah, I love Gold Watch... (Anybody know the sample???) And the Snoop collab aint bad either...

Played the album a couple times and it gets better with each listen... On a whole it might be better than the RETAIL version of his first... It's NOT better than the Food and Liquor bootleg tho...

Put You On Game and Dumb It Down are probably the two best songs of the album (maybe of the year)... The only track I've been skipping a lot is Intruder Alert... The whole vibe and mood of the song just puts me to sleep... Besides that, it's a damn good sophomore release... Might be one of the best albums of a busy year in hiphop...

And see her image in the river, she would know. But there are no palm trees, on the street. "The Holocaust / Warcloud"

it's already better than BDR, 8Diagrams, Death the Human Dance, Offering, both H.R. albums, American Gangster and many more

up there with Sick Jacken & El-P with the best album...

the album feels like Lupe is making even a bigger statement than Nas did with HHID...like this HHID how it should've been....
    bring back begongo!!

I'm amazed by this album. Only songs I skip are The Die and sometimes Gold Watch. Good album so far.
