Which Chrisette Michelle blessed track do you prefer?
Jay-Z - Lost Ones
Nas - Can't Forget About You
Ghostface Killah - Slow Down
Which Chrisette Michelle blessed track do you prefer?
Slow Down. It has the best beat of the three, and Ghost's delivery is perfect on it.
Lost Ones comes in second, I really like the third verse about Jay's nephew, but that line in the first about Ben and J. Lo is awful. Dre's beat wasn't too impressive, either.
Can't Forget About You is pretty average, lyrically and beatwise, and the hook is too long for me.
Can't Forget About You. I liked Lost Ones a lot cuz of the lyrics but the beat was a bit too repetitive for me. And Slow Down was alright too, not bad.
Slow Down.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
Slow Down gets my vote.
Lost Ones is also mad dope, but doesnt get past Slow Down
Nas, Ghost, Jay
btw this is a fucking awesome poll
does anyone think that she sounds kinda the same on both the Nas and Ghost joint, almost like she's saying the same shit (i havent listened to the nas joint in like 8 months so i could be way off....)
"We accept tires" - Cappadonna
Lost One, but these are 3 of the best songs made this year

Cant Forget About You. She was better on it and Nas was ill on it. Unforgettable sample is dope as hell.
I only know the ghost song..so slow down
Shaolin shadowboxin' and the wu-tang swordstyle...If what you say is true...The shaolin and the wu-tang could be dangerous!En garde, I'll let you try my wu-tang style...
Nas joint.

"The Devil is not the Prince of Matter; the Devil is the arrogance of the spirit, faith without smile, truth that is never seized by doubt. The Devil is grim because he knows where he is going, and, in moving, he always returns whence he came."
1. Lost Ones
2. Slow Down
3. Can't forget about you w/e
Slow Down for me. Ghost is dope on it as is the hook.
Can't Forget About me is ill as fuck too though. I remember bumping it last winter, the vibe on that shit is really nice.
Lost Ones is iite but Jay is always weak compared to Ghost (and Nas)
"We don't need no diamond rings
All we need is a drum like
Fuck it, he can rhyme, I'll sing"
the ghost joint gets my vote, although the last half of the chorus i have a hard time understanding her lyrics, but i'ma get on that soon. it gets stuck in my head a lot easier too, so that kinda wins me over somewhat. plus the beat change makes it interesting.
i like the nas joint a lot too, and to be honest i kinda think that it's neck and neck with ghost's effort.
lost ones comes in last, not because it's jay (i actually liked this track, as weird as that would sound for a lot of ppl that know me personally.) i thought dre's beat was decent compared to a lot of the crap he was giving to the g unit flunkies. then again, they only became crap when those goons added their hooked on phonics to them.
