I've probably listened to both albums a few times, (I plan on bumping GFK a lot more over the next week), but I think GFK got it. Jay-Z has some nice tracks, Ignorant Shit, Success, but then he's got some bullshit. Jay-Z to me is also the same in mostly everytrack he does anyway. GFK at least flips the style with his stories and his wildout flow. And the appearances on BDR are dope, I love when Ghost rocks with his T-Unit people..especially Shawn Wiggs LMAO.

Goodness - I have to say American Gansta on lyrical content alone, but you really think you're rating artist of equal caliber? Somehow I don't agree. :: shrugs ::

Also theres not really stories on 'AG', more observations and introspective writing on the life of a hustler. Ghost's album has some great tracks and stories but it doesn't really have any deep messages to it. Its that fast food that RZA was talking about.
yep so true, that's why I wanted to make this thread/poll to see if people votes for the artist they listen to most or the musically better album. I'm a much bigger fan of Ghost but it's a fact that American Gangster is the superior LP.

Supreme Clientele is One of my top albums but dude no way it is better then Reasonable Doubt. I don't even think you can rate these two artist in the same thread. and IRONMAN better than Reasonable Doubt? Come on thats crazy. But it is your opinion. Ghost to Jay Z is like rap to hip hop. Its like comparing gritty hard to hard with a tune. Like saying Mobb Deep (Hell on Earth) to Pharell latest Album. Two different leagues. Ghost is RAP music...Jay Z is Hip Hop ... and if you didn't know, yea there is a difference.
