8 Diagrams Vs. 36 Chambers

8 Diagrams has better lyrics, better production, and Meth doesn't make everyone else look like shit. The only thing that 36 has on 8 Diagrams is ol Dirty Bastard and even ol Dirt dog can hold it down against the evolution of 8 of the greatest lyricists in hip hop history and the music of rza... The nature of all truly great artists and musicians is to evolve for the better so has been proven and is again proven in 8 diagrams. So what if the feeling isn't the same in 8 diagrams as the 36 chambers... They're different people now and probably have been holding stuff against eachother for a long time now and that effects the way the album feels not the quality of the album. If anything its what contributes to the some of the illest wu lyrics ever because of the conflict they become more competetive. So tell me whats 36 got on 8 diagrams? honestly? is it that its an unforgettable album of all ages that is no doubt hall of fame worthy? if you forget about 8 Diagrams you're stupid.

even though i dont see 36 chambers as the immaculate album most people do i can still listen to that album straight through without skipping anything. cant say that for 8 diagrams.

36 brought in a new sound, 8D arguably didnt, its NON skippable, more ODB and Ghost, no reused lyrics or beats (that havent heard before 36), no guitars, no singing (oh god Starter)

get the fuck outta here with this post. 15 years later and we are still dissecting the brillant lyrics and gritty production of 36 chambers. Theres no way 15 years from now Ill be listening to 8 diagrams. I like 8 diagrams, but cmon dont make statements like this.

people have to take their time to appreciate 8 diagrams as his real value
they've been "shocked" because they were expecting something else, a kind of mix between 36 chambers and Wu forever. The Wu is different now and the 36 chamber era is over but i think 8 diagrams will be designed as a classic because many wack albums have been released in 2007.
