All the expensive equipment in the world does not create talent. It's not even close to all you need, you still have to understand production and have natural talent - look at you, you have all that shit and I've never heard one beat from you that isn't completely amateur sounding. There are cats on this board like Schizo that use only software and they are light years ahead of you and all your fancy equipment. Hardware def brings another level to production, the fellas who use the Roland SPs on this board do shit that can only be done with that hardware, but they also happen to be cats that spent years mastering their craft...Anyone that wants to start producing needs to get a sense of the basics, I wouldn't drop a dime on hardware until i could get reasonable sounding beats using solely software.

theres my work station.. its a lil more than that, but thats where all the work comes from.. notice the MV8800, its a beast! it can do it all, now all i have to do is fully learn how to use it. lol peace
