If Nas gets dropped from Def Jam, it's his dumb ass fault. I don't know why he would wanna name his album that offensive word. He knows that the word is degrading to blacks and it's a word that ignorant racist white people used to make blacks think we're lesser than whites when we were slaves. He better change the album title or start looking for a independent record company because a major label isn't gonna sign him when he wants to name his album that word.

hip hop is dead was not a bad album title. he said what alot of ppl have on their mind.... and sparked a needed debate on the point at which the new hip hop is no longer in the spirit of its tradition. while he never said it directly, i think the title questioned the place of crunk and that sort of thing in hip hop proper.

I think its in Def Jams best interest not to drop Nas. Nas is guaranteed platinum or better. This may force him to do his own thing, u think niggas wont buy it if he not on Def Jam. In fact I think if they threatened to drop him, that will make Nas more determined in getting his album out.
