Default Def Jam Deny Dropping Nas Over Controverial Album Title

Nas will not be dropped by his label Def Jam, despit rumors earlier in the week that suggested the company were unhappy with the rapper naming his new album as "Nigger".

Reports stated that Nas was refusing to change the title of his next long-player, which led to the decision to release him of his contract.

However, in a new interview with Rolling Stone, Def Jam rubbished the allegations saying "That is absolutely ridiculous and untrue."

Nigger has caused much controversy since its title was named last year, but it will continue to be released next month.

Def Jam needs to drop him from the label for naming his album that word. I can't believe LA Reid and the other employees at the label are gonna support him. If i was LA Reid, i'd make him change the album title and if he doesn't want to, then LA Reid should release him from his contract. This situation is gonna cause bad publicity for Def Jam and the label doesn't need bad publicity because the label already sucks because of how they're shitting on good rap veterans like Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Redman, LL Cool J.

I find it funny that calling an album that is so controversial, yet using it as every other word of the lyrics of an album is perfectly ok.
