Rapper Lil Kim has been officially dropped by her label Atlantic Records. Here's what Billboard is reporting:
On DJ Kay Slay’s Sirius Satellite Radio show “Streetsweeper Radio� last week, Kim shared that she harbors no ill feelings toward Atlantic. She said she was afraid to release her music independently several years ago but is now more comfortable in her knowledge of the music business to work her project.
Word is that she still plans on releaseing her new album in May - just without a label.
Guess that means Kim's gonna be driving through the hood selling her album out of the back of her Bentley. Hey, a chick's gotta eat.
