Just picked up this album, and i have to say i really like it. I was unsure about the reggae flavoured track (i cant remember the names yet), but its dope. Catchy hook and nice beat from Pete. The Lords Of The Underground track is one of my favourite. A gorgeous piano looped beat by Pete that just oozes classiness, with nice verses from the Lords.

Styles P rips the track hes on, as do Little Brother and Raekwon & Masta Killa. Pete is solid on the mic. Nothing amazing, but solid. He comes up with some nice hooks for the album, and his lyrics on 'till i retire' are pretty good.

My only main problem at the moment is the DJ Green Lantern produced track which i dont like at all. So i need to listen to this more, but for the moment

This is a good album. There isn't really any skip tracks, but no real good standout tracks either. Alot of the problems had to do with the emcee's Pete Rock picked for this album. However, the production is top notch as expected.

Top 5: We Roll, 914, The Best Secret, The PJ's, Made Man (not in order)

    Overall Grade: (3/5) B-
