skits IMO have little to no effect in an album
first couple times i listened to Clientele i didnt skip a track because theyre pretty good skits
the Ironman theme song intro, the "wu-tang clan and ironman" singsongs, the basehead skit, the 'who would u fuck?' skit, and of course the Clyde Smith outro (u know....where he talks bout 50 an watever)
pretty good skits that compliment the album big time IMO....but of course these days i find myself skipping most of em
dont let skits get in the way of ur listening experience

hahahaha not technically a skit but that one's probably my favorite.
some are good, most i would be glad to see go. like on beneath the surface, they dont do anything for me. the record label one is true and all i guess but i dont care for it

skits are trash. if an artist wants to make the total album time longer, take out the skits and let the beat play out longer after the verses. fuck skits.

depends on how they are used like on de la soul's - 3 feet high and nwa's - niggaz4life the skits were well used and give the album a kind of continuation to keeps the listener tuned

when its done well a skit can add alot to the album but when not done well they mostly suck
