Default Wu Tang's Wu Tang Forever Album Disappointed Me

I hadn't heard this album in a long time so i listened to it again last week and i wasn't feeling it that much. There's some songs on there i like but i feel that the album should've been one disc because there's too many wack songs on the album. This album isn't as good as their first album. They will never be able to top their first album. Most rappers can't top their first album. The beats weren't that good on Wu Tang Forever.

This album has to really grow on you, I loved it so much like a year ago, and then I stopped listening to it, then I came back to it like 6 months ago and thought it was trash.... and now I love it again, it's just got a weird affect.

I felt the same way about 8 Diagrams, some tracks like "Sunlight" should've been on BOAP. Black Shampoo vs MC Conditioner. Black Shampoo is hot. Niggas hating on U-God can eat a dick on that. Raekwon haters can also eat a dick he's top 3 on that album. I like the album, the beats are hard hitting and sound nice and updated...

Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

Another album of their's i was very disappointed in was The W. That album is terrible. What's up with the Wu not making good consistent group albums? That's a shame because all of them are tight mc's. Iron Flag was mediocore also. I'm not even gonna comment on 8 Diagrams LOL.

So why do you have 2000 posts on a wu-tang forum if you're not a Wu-fan. Maybe you should join another forum to better suit your interests.

If you want to improve, remove Starter and pretend it never existed

Rza already had Sunshower. Ghost or Raekwon solo track should've been added they the only 2 cats without one.

compare THAT solo to everyone elses...doesn't do Rza justice

but yeah, wu forever grows on you, when i first heard it i thought it was ass, except for Dog Shit, which is the only song that had the sound i was looking for, it was too much to swallow on one listen

but after sometime that shit became arguably their best work

Wu-Forever is imho the best Hip Hop album ever created..

Iron Flag is the only Wu-album I don't really like...

co-sign, 36 Chambers, Wu-Tang Forever, The W and 8 Diagrams are consistent classic or close-to-classic albums. Iron Flag sound like left-over tracks from soundtracks and solo-albums.. I mean it's good but nowhere near the others..
