    its based off Akira Kurosawa's classic "Seven Samurai"... the anime version stretched it out to 26 episodes with a same theme and additional storyline occuring in modern/near future japan with some sci fi elements...

    Yeah I've known about it for ages, but for some reason have never got round to watching it. Pretty dumb given that Seven Samurai is one of my favourite films of all time.

    Mind you, having only got into Naruto (now my favourite anime series along with Fullmetal Alchemist) and Bleach recently, I'm currently trying to catch up on 400 odd episodes of those two. And that can be kinda time consuming!

    Yeah Neon Genesis is definately dope. I've got a lot (probably an understatement) of anime to watch now, it's almost scary. I've been watching through Dragonball as well when I'm in the mood. Kinda hope I don't discover any other great long series, or i'll never get a break!

    Haha, I've done Death Note already (classic). Hajime No Ippo never appealed to me. I don't know anything about it really, but the boxing theme never grabbed me. Wanna watch both Kaiji and Elfen Lied when I get the chance (around 2032).
