This CD is great! It could have been longer, but the song with meth sucked!!! The flows were good, but the beat was pure GARBAGE!!! But overall a pretty solid album!

Masta Killa is definetely underrated. I liked this album. I wouldn't call it a classic unless I still love it years from now, but after having it for a little while, I still enjoy listening to it. 8/10

Great album. It was good to hear some real hiphop from the clan in 2004. Since the style kind of died out it seems. Masta Killa gots nice beats on this album, good production and great lyrics. A big step up. I liked every track on the album alot.

1.Born Chamber - Just an intro, but good (5/5)
2.Grab The Microphone - Chill beat and great lyrics. (4/5)
3.No Said Date - Love the beat (5/5)
4.Last Drink - Decent beat, and lyrics were straight (3.5/5)
5.Love Spell - Like the vibe and lyrics, good stuff. (4/5)
    6.The Future - Awesome track (5/5)
7.D.T.D - Love the beat and lyrics (5/5)
    8.Whatever - My fav song, ill beat/lyrics (5.5/5)
9.Secret Rivals - Very ill beat! Love it (5/5)
    10.Skit - No rating
    11.Digi Warfare - Great vibe (5/5)
    12.Old Man - Love it, awesome beat and ODB/RZA - (5/5)
    13.Queen - Great lyrics (5/5)
    14.School - Good track (5/5)
    15.Silverbacks - Good appearances (5/5)
    16.Masta Killa - Perfect (5/5)

Overall this album gets a 5/5 from me, nothing seems wrong. Good production and good lyrics.

you know what's really funny like i always gave masta props... but i thought if he did an album it would stray away from "the clan vibe" but actually it was the reverse effect. i never fronted on this album .. Masta gets much love for bringing us back to the wu-roots.

    Personal classic:

When I first heard it, I thought, close but no cigar. But It grows on me more and more as time goes on. Now I consider top notch. Its the first Wu album to not have any bad songs on it since Ironman. The classic tracks are "silverbacks", "whatever", "masta killa", and "last drink".

Taking it back to the clan's roots is exactly what every diehard fan wants to hear. The other clan members also all bring their A-games. And a great way for Dirty to go out on top.

The timing of this album was also important. The state of the clan may have been at its lowest by mid '04. What a pleasant surprise.

1.Born Chamber - Just an intro, but good (5/5)
2.Grab The Microphone - (5/5) I love the way Masta starts the album so chilled out. I always thought of Masta as being a mostly aggressive rapper mixed in with 5%er so I always thought this album would start of with some choppin heads shit.
3.No Said Date - (5/5) I love the futuristic vibe of the track.
4.Last Drink - (4.5/5) Lyrically on point and nice beat
5.Love Spell - (4.5/5) This was one of the least popular tracks when it came out. Now I love it. The beat is nice to me.
    6.The Future -(5/5) I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7.D.T.D - (5/5) Truely amazing track. Raekwon really does rip this to bits
8.Whatever - (4/5) Nice track. But the bass really lets it down.
    9.Secret Rivals - (5/5) KP is amazing
10.Skit - Very relevant to the vibe
    11.Digi Warfare - (5/5) Amaing track
12.Old Man - (4/5) Was mot my fav when I got the cd. But like alot of other odb stuff I find myself addicted.
13.Queen - (5/5) Right up there the best of the Wu love tracks
14.School - (4.5/5) I love the first beat. At first I had a problem with the beat change but listening over the album the fast beat fits the vibe of the cd
15.Silverbacks - (4.5/5) Wow Gza really made me think with his lyrics. By think I mean go back and listen over and over again to see what he was saying.
16.Masta Killa - (5/5) Excellent way to finish off.

This has become a personal classic for me. I was expecting a very dark sound but Masta stamped his own personality on this cd. I think this becomes very apparent by his use of various Wu producers and not just Rza.

I often go back to this cd because it is actually very uplifting to me. Prior to this album I always thought of Masta as either very aggressive or as someone who drops knowledge (5% influenced). But I respect him as a versatile artist now.

To me its 4.5/5. What stops it being 5/5 to me is that it is a bit 'constructed'. It features Wu Tang but mostly only one. Its almost token........he had to do this at the time but in the process he had to make sacrifices.
