Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
This album is sub-par. 3/5 at best. I don't see what all the hype is about.
Last Drink = one horrible beat.
definetly best wu joint out since 'supreme clientele'
this cd captures the essence of the wu, if this was released in 95' it wouldnt sound much different.
since hearing this album, i really started paying attention to his other verses on wu albums, i think hes one of the best in the clan
I own over 200 albums, and i would have to say that this is in my top 20.
1.Born Chamber: I love the 5 deadly Venoms; It's one of my favorite movies of all time.
2.Grab The Microphone: 4/5
3.No Said Date: 5/5 (There is a very similar beat to the one on Outkast Aquemini)
4.Last Drink: 5/5 (Banger! He always performs this at concerts)
5.Love Spell: 3.5/5 (Worst Track on here)
6.The Future: 5/5 (The Kids Ripped it... lol)
7.D.T.D: 5/5
8.Whatever: 5/5
9.Secret Rivals: 5/5 (Meth and Priest Come Right)
11.Digi Warfare: 4.5/5
12.Old Man: 5/5
13.Queen: 5/5 (Fucked my Girl to this)
14.School: 5/5
15.Silverbacks: 5/5 (Favorite Track on here)
16.Masta Killa: 5/5
Amazing album
I think it was great. I'd give it 4.5 mics out of 5
i give it a strong 4.5/5
It's a very strong album production wise. Masta Killa has some really good lyrics, but he lacks energy and enthusiasm. not a personal classic, but I still enjoy listening to it.
This album is slightly above average.
Wu-Tanggggg could it get even better? This album shows!
4/5. The production is really not that good, I think MK comes nice but the beats just aren't there sometimes. I hate the secret rivals beat, the silverbacks beat is average, Last Drink is an okay beat, and Digi Warfare is just a really bad song all around. Other than that, I love Grab the Mic, School and D.T.D. grew on me. All the other tracks are solid, and it makes up a solid album.
poll for NSD
Christianity = White Supremacy
8/10, with Silverbacks, Whatever & Secret Rivals as the best songs. Very solid!
Some Great Tracks But Too Candy Coated For My Taste A Bit Corny At Times But I'm Still Checkin For The New Lp
This is actually my favorite album. Not just wu but all of hip-hop. I only 19 and this album got me into hip-hop and the wu. I think thats why I like it so much.
