anyone here know how to edit a png image?

ok the deal is I got a image that I want to edit so that there is orange on it and it's a png, the only problem is that the color of orange I want doesn't appear on the image so I ask you why that is?

aren't they just like PSDs? check if the layer is locked, if your using PSP or PS...

Whatever you are using sounds like what some graphics programs do when you are in indexed color mode. You probably need to change it to rgb. If thats not it I would need to know what you were using.

nah I made that in paint cause I was bored, I'm not editing a banner I'm editing something else.
