    I got you fam.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

I've been meaning to check out Darkim for ages now, but keep forgetting. Can someone up a little compilation of tracks by him and A.I.G. to get a feel for his style?

I've only heard the tracks off Killa Bees and maybe one other one.

I figured I would, so I just downloaded it! I'll pick it up if I:

    a) Like it
    b) Can find it

While looking about I came across this track off their label's new album 'Live at the Lab, Take II: Retaliatory Strike'.

Allahwise - Big Apple (prod. Darkim Be Allah)

Thanks man. Not really a fan of 9th Prince, but Darkim and A.I.G. always sounded nice. Gonna check the mp3s and probably pick up that album and his new one if I like them. Will come back and drop some thoughts once I've been pover the album a few times.

    Peace

just listened to this and it sounds nice as hell, i'll say "where does that leave me" and "the anthem" are masterpieces for me already. gonna give this some more spins and get back to this thread, it ain't fair rating it based on soley one listen.

listening to the EP "Live at The Lab: Take 1" by Darkim right now, dope shit as well.

damn I've been stuck on this album for the last couple of days, banging it about 3 times a day plus "Live At The Lab" and "The Manhattan Project". I'm glad I got my eyes up for Darkim's work, he is a great MC and so is AllahWise - Shakim holding it down with the beats on this one too. I think everybody on this forum should give it a chance, I'm sure many of y'all would LOVE this shit.

    01 - The Anthem - 10/10
    02 - Next of Kin - 8.5/10
    03 - Strokin' - 9/10
    04 - Don't Stop - 9.5/10
    05 - Block Famous - 9/10
    06 - Time To Eat - 10/10
    07 - The Reunion - 8/10
    08 - Skit

    10 - Unbreakable Code - 9/10
    11 - Where Does That Leave Me - 10/10

    Overall: 9.5/10
