i don't think it works like that
. but i could be wrong.
i think that you would have to load the mp3 as an aif or wav and use the midi app to trigger the sound file as an event. kinda like a sequencer.
You can make an instrumental of ANY beat as long as you have the accapella of the track. All you have to do is open the normal track in a music editing program, then lay the accapella over it, there is then a way to make the program (something like cool edit) match up the soundwaves from the accapella with the original song, and it can extract the vocals like that.
search google for more instructions on that.
download mp3 to midi conveter, some better, and when u convert it to midi, open it in sibelius..
If u see notes than u made it!!!
