I would use smaller fonts. You gotta learn how to blend the render(the main paerson or thing) too.
Yeah, what Storm said. As a start, try to make the backgrounds the same colours as the picture.

Much better. Try to add some colour to them. And mess around with gradient maps, brightness/contrast, levels, etc to add depth to the sig and to make the details stand out more.
Just keep making sigs and read loads of tutorials on the internet, I personally find them really helpful. Even if you're not that interested in the outcome of a tutorial, I usually find that I learn loads of new techniques and shit from reading the tutorial through.
Also, in future, try to use brushes in your sigs to give them some nice effects and to make the backrounds more original than just a picture. You can download brushes from here

not bad... just take the advice Sean gave. i got a few tips on coloring that i will add in a few. overall your sigs are pretty good. just keep practicing and learn/explore new ways to color up you stuff.
