Default A Guide to The Sound Shack (need your help)

There is always a group of cats that listen to a wide variety of hip-hop and dont know where to start in any other genre.

I want to make a sticky that lists about 25 albums per genre (jazz, reggae, rock, rnb) for someone to find that are the staples that can guide someone into that genre.

Im callin on Infinity, Jeru, Dusk, Hitman D and the rest that keep this forum going......I know there are a bunch of lower profile posters that come in here and drop good recommendations too.

    suggestions here.

I'm down. I'll look and see what I can make up. Believe it or not , its hard for me to name 25 reggae albums. This is gonna be a great thread though.

    I'll be back...

I can name 25 classic reggae albums.

I might also make other lists....like split rnb from motown....90s....for jazz have the essential 5-10 miles davis albums and so on.

I dont know the exact format for each list but something might come up.

i generally dislike making lists, because it ends up excluding other great albums...ill think about it...if i say yes, i can do metal albums.

Just go with your gut...make a list about your favorit albums...and if you only get 10 or so that's cool...just name the albums you like listening to the most...the way I did it...oh yeah and one album per band.
