whats it about?

eraserhead is about a lot of things. interpretations vary, but i think it's mostly about sex/procreation and the anxieties of fatherhood. for some reason, people like to think eraserhead is confusing and abstract but the narrative is very straight forward. basically, it's about a man who has to care for his screaming mutant baby.

Come on, there is a little woman singing in his radiator, it's hardly a straight forward film.



I think it's a very good film, but I could never call it a favourite because I find it more interesting than enjoyable.

Natural Born Killers

I thought that was one of the most disappointing films I've ever seen. I can understand why Tarantino hates it so much and was so angry at Stone for his butchering of his original script. I'll take Badlands (or Wild At Heart or True Romance) over this any day. For me a far better comment on media glamoruisation of violence is Man Bites Dog.
