Who ya'll think would win this mc battle? This would be a tough one because both of them are ill. It would've been nice to see Big L still living because i would've been curious to see if he would've kept his music underground. I heard rumors that Rocafella was interested in signing him before he passed away. If he hadn't died and if he had gotten with Rocafella, i wonder if his music would've became mainstream.

i believe he was talking mainstream like Jay Z is, and sorry, i love Lord Finesse & Preemo too, but theres no way they could make him mainstream, thats the reason he signed with Rocafella, if Lord Finesse & Preemo could make him mainstream (1) he woulda stuck with his own label Flamboyant Entertainment, and (2) why are'nt Lord Finesse & Preemo mainstream ??

out of the 2 my favourite is Rakim, him along with Krs One, LL Cool J, Chuck D & Big Daddy Kane, heavily influenced me to rap from day one, but if we're talking about an mc battle, it's Big L, Rakim has a lot more to say than just how extremely dope he is, but then again, if it was a battle through songs, a la the Jay Z & Nas thing, then i reckon Rakim could've smashed him to pieces. but we'll never know for sure.
