Default Juice Crew vs. Wu-Tang Clan

I think Juice Crew is the only posse in hip-hop that could be mentioned in the same breath as Wu-Tang Clan. they never released group-albums or nothing but i'm talking talent vs. talent when it comes down to the featured individuals. also producer vs. producer with marley marl and rza.

me personally I love Wu-Tang but three of my all time favorite mc's are Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane and Tragedy. Marley Marl is also one of my favorite producers (although he can't fuck with rza's catalouge).

    Big Daddy Kane
    Masta Ace
    Marley Marl
    TJ Swan
    Biz Markie
    Mr. Magic
    MC Shan
    Craig G
    Tragedy Khadafi
    Roxanne Shanté
Kool G Rap & DJ Polo
    Cool V

    vs.

    RZA
    GZA
    Method Man
    Inspectah Deck
    Raekwon
    Ghostface Killah
    U-God
    Masta Killa
    Cappadonna
    Ol' Dirty Bastard

True, there was this thread about assembling a group to kill the wu-tang.

3 of those rappers were from the Juice Crew.

    hmmmm....

idk man. i think the Juice Crew has some lesser acts when the Wu is more consistant. album wise Wu has put out more classics...

idk... G Rap is the best MC... next is GZA... next is Kane.. then comes Ghost..

idk man. too close to call.

I love Wu-Tang as much as the next man but Juice Crew wins out on this one...by more than a hair....cmon...Kane, Ace, Biz, Tragedy, Shan...and I didnt even mention the best MC coming out of both camps....muthaf*ckin Kool G Rap

    Big Daddy Kane
    Masta Ace
    Marley Marl
    TJ Swan
    Biz Markie
    Mr. Magic
    MC Shan
    Craig G
    Tragedy Khadafi

Tragically, I've never given Tragedy, BDK or Kool G Rap a listen.......so the only one really representing in the War is Masta Ace, but he alone puts up a strong fight.

And as much as I like what I've heard from Marley, I don't think he's capable of reaching RZA's level.

    All respect due, though.

    very good battle

but too many classics came out from the juice crew - too many

Marley Marls Beats are allot more polished and professional than RZAs

    The MCs ?

    lmao
    dam

G Rap vs. Rae & Ghost
    Kane vs. Meth & GZA
    Biz vs. ODB (R.I.P.)
    Shante vs. U-God (lmao)
    Craig G vs. Masta Killa
    Master Ace vs. INS
    Shan vs. RZA

ok ok WU got more MCs

But Kane And G Rap alone would have smashed through most hands down
Marley Pioneered a sample style that i'm sure RZA learned from - Marleys beats couldn't be ignored

the "Long Live the Kane" album
and the "Road to the Riches" album
then there is the Juice Crew Album "In Control"
would most definitely take the title
listen to those albums then come back and vote

As much as I love Wu-Tang, G Rap is the best MC out of everyone in those 2 groups, so G would handle all of them with GZA shortly behind.
