It has no relationship to the first one other than the fact that it's not an origin story so it would appear like a sequel but it is in fact a reboot.

Obvious stuff aside, the problem with the Lou Ferrigno Hulk films (and TV show for that matter) was that you can't use a real person to capture the real mass of the Hulk. If you're going by the "Hulk is a just a big muscular green guy" definition, then any lizard-like big green creature can be Godzilla...right? Not quite.

Furthermore, the Hulk films were more posing than they were real action (ANY action sequence in the last Hulk film EASILY topples ANY action sequence in any of the old Hulk films, and I'm not just considering that technology advanced either when I make that statement).

The original Hulk filmed sucked major ass! Anyone who is familiar with the comics should agree with that. The first hulk movie has not nearly enough Hulk-Smashing, this one should be much better

I just thought I would post this vid up, it's an animated cgi short that marvel made to promote Iron Man and Hulk for this years features, it was split into three parts but this vid has the whole thing edited together. Notice how useless Spider-Man is made out to be in this vid....
