Well I will first state the obvious and say your belt color should be roughly the same color as your shoes.

Wearing both brown/brown or black black with a grey suit are both classic combinations. There are some that just dont like the combination and say that black looks better with grey.

I think it matters more on the shade of grey and browns. If charcoal color grey, black or dark brown....if light grey then any brown.

You can wear brown with navy, tan, olive and grey.

I wear brown shoes when I have the option for both as much as I can...so I say brown.

For your tie it depends on your shirt. If its a plain crisp white shirt then wear any groovy tie. If striped, then a solid tie or one that has a different stripe/checkered pattern than the shirt.

I agree with Prolifical, if you got a dark grey suit its best to go with black, a lighter shade of grey then brown is your answer.

i got an all black suit, and a striped black suit. and i have my gangsta purple silk tie. its jus the best tie.
