How do I sample?

If I wanna sample from a CD or DVD and add the sample to my beat... how do I do

that? What program will I need?

you need a sampler.
or you can take small pieces of a song with Goldwave then treat them (tempo, volume, distortion...) with the programm you make music with such as Orion, Cubase...

I've heard a lot of people talkin about Adope Audition. Can I use that? And is that a good program?

you can once you've extracted the sound from the movie - plenty of converters around , but if anyone knows of a quick one please let me know . Adobe Audition would be very expensive option as this is the least of it's function , it is a great program for cleaning up sounds so it might be a worthwhile investment anyway .

SoundFile: Import the file into a wave program like Soundforge, Goldwave or Cool Edit, cut it up and export save as WAV format, then u can load it up in a sampler like FruityLoops n mess with it.

DVD: for film like u wanna get sum kung fu siunds, play dat shit n record it with Esy Sound recorder, den save and repeat step 1!!
