damn people are definitely overlooking Rae's skills here, sure RZA's production was the most important element to Cuban Linx but RZA couldn't have done that album alone. neither could Ghost or Rae... Raekwon was responsible for the whole theme and vibe of that album, the wu-gambinos name, all that fly slang, the classic dialouges with ghost, etc, etc..

Not me^
Raekwon is one of my favourite emcees but...
With RZA's production he can sound unbelivable...
Without it he is dope don't get me wrong...
Just listen to "Cocaine World" Produced by Ill Bill.
But as for the album...
RZA produced the original...
Therefor I would say it isn't even worthy of the title :
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...Pt II
If RZA isn't "involved"
So...WITH.
i dono how this could be up for debate really..
Rza wasn't blowin ppl's minds on 8D or with these new Digi Snax beats but those aren't the kinda beats we're gonna be hearing on Cuban Linx (nothing "experimental" you might say..)
also, keep in mind the album is DONE ALREADY...or at least Rza's contribution is..
and if u need anything else to consider i offer Exhibit A: the State of Grace track..
there shouldn't even be a poll for this it's easily with rza
My new lifestyle brand -http://www.viberael.com @viberael
listening to necro it is finally starting to grow onme and maybe i was being stubborn at first..i will say this..chef has made 3 albums thus far and only 1 has had rza beats on the joint..we been askin for some rza shit from rae..that nigga owe us a few rza joints....
The fans in general want CL2 to have a fair amount of RZA production. Although the fans were splut bout 50/50 with his work on 8D, there's no doubt that he can still produce bangin beats, such as those on the Afro Samurai soundtrack. As well as this, in that Westwood interview before 8D came out, RZA said himself that they already did the 'punch you in the face' album with Cuban Linx. But since then changes have happened and no one knows just how many RZA beats will actually make it. However if Rae somehow manages to pick decent beats this time round, he may be able to deliver an album that will most likely satisfy fans and not be a disappointment like LDS.
Never expected much from Rae and Ghost. Outside of their work with RZA, they don't impress me. They can rhyme, but I like good music too.
But the track I've heard is quite nice. So, let them do that CD together, since they seem to have something to prove to the world, now that they bit the hand that fed them.
I voted RZA though, 'cos I'm a bit of a dreamer, and I'm not the only one...
Comme les anges à l'œil fauve
Je reviendrai dans ton alcôve
Et vers toi glisserai sans bruit
Comme les ombres de la nuit.
Whether ya'll like it or not, Raekwon was on most of the 8 Diagram tracks and he smashed it. Why do people keep saying their are no Rza beats, when there is no proof.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
