Well, my 2 cents is that because of the rep of the artists involved in these projects, they are not willing to risk it all by putting out something that will not stand the test of time. I've read some Dr Dre inteviews, and the man is a perfectionist of the highest order; word is that he have a basement full of beat-reels, just stuff that he either couldn't clear(!?) or stuff that, in his mind, wasn't good enough to share with the world... As for the Chef... You know how a nice meal takes time to cook?
